Staff Present – Joe Shank, Jenny Gleichauf, Bill Mueller Care & Concerns Report – Bill Mueller Pastoral Reports – Submitted by staff. Minutes – November minutes approved as submitted (Stewart/McNamara) Treasurer’s Report – Report from Clyde McGregor Canvass Report – Steve Huels reviewed progress to date (154 pledges for $629,809) and explained the next phase of the program. Council convened an executive session for 25 minutes. Candidates for the nominating committee were submitted by the council members. A chair person will be selected and given the names as recommendations. Action Items Report – Steve Huels updated the action items. A discussion took place on how best to communicate the current outreach program to the congregation. Brek Peterson presented a report on the progress of Family Promise. Council opened a discussion of the possibility of moving it’s meeting to the fourth Tuesday of each month. A decision was deferred to the next meeting. The next leadership meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Details will follow. The meeting was adjourned with prayer at 9:30 Bob Smith, Clerk
