The meeting was opened with meditation and video
presentation by Bill Mueller.

Care and Calling presented by Bill Mueller.
The minutes of the March 9, 2010 were approved as
presented. (Smith/McKay).
Treasurer’s Report – Clyde McGregor presented the March
financial reports. (hand outs)
Canvass Report – Steve Huels presented an updated final
report on the canvas. Pledges now total $872,113.84. Future transactions will
be reported as part of the treasurer’s report. (hand out).
Membership Committee and By Law Change– Peggy McNamara
presented a recommendation for the organization of the Membership Committee
(included as an attachment). A motion to accept the report was passed.

Nominations – Susan Gillette advised that the nominating
committee results to date will be published by April 15.
Helms Award winners were selected from a list of nominees.
Family Promise – Brek Peterson reported there is a family
in the program in its second week. WCC will host the week of April 25th.
Rummage – Jody Stewart reports a strong joint effort under
way with staff, volunteers and other resources in publicize working to fill
other supports for rummage.

The May council meeting will begin at 6:30 to accommodate
the faith statements by our Confirmands.
The meeting was closed with prayer by Joseph Shank at 9:00
