STAFF PRESENT – Joseph Shank, Jenny Gleichauf, Bill
Mueller, Floy Schrage.
The meeting was opened with meditation and prayer by Jenny
Gleichauf.
Pastoral reports were presented by Joe, Jenny, and Bill,
including care and calling notes (hand outs).
CLERK’S REPORT - The minutes of the February meeting
were approved as presented (Smith/Ellenshon).
FINANCE REPORT – Treasurer Clyde McGregor commented
on the 2009 financial report presented by the church’s accountant. The results
of the pledge drive will allow an increase in the outreach commitment beyond the
level of the current 2010 budget.
CANVASS REPORT – Steve Huels reported that pledges
for 2010 have reached $865,000 from 254 pledging units. The team is preparing
an evaluation of its campaign program for presentation at the April council
meeting.
MEMBERSHIP – Peggy McNamara reported that
recommended changes will be presented at the April council meeting.
