Council Minutes-April 12, 2011 Back to Council Main   Members Present –   Peggy McNamara, Clyde McGregor, Steve Huels, Bob Smith, Patty Van Cleave, Jody Stewart, Nick Schoewe, Bruce Kelly, Bob Linn, Carla Vorhees, and Chuck Dowding. Staff in Attendance – Senior Pastor Joseph Shank, Pastor Jenny Gleichauf, and Pastor Bill Mueller. The meeting was opened at 7:05 pm with a two readings and prayer by Joseph Shank. Chairman Steve Huels made introductions and gave a review of the agenda. Council Minutes -The minutes of the February 8, 2010 were approved as presented (Van Cleave/McGregor). Councilor Reports- All groups report heightened activity level in their current programs.  Pastor’s Reports – Joseph, Jenny and Bill presented pastoral reports. Jenny announced that she had her husband have applied to adopt a child.  It is likely that it will occur within the next 15 months.  (Detailed pastoral reports attached. Long Range Planning – Clyde McGregor moved to accept the working draft of the WCC Endowment Fund rules - issued previously. (McGregor/Schoewe) After discussion, the motion passed. Action items – Steve reviewed the action items. (hand out) Nominating- The committee has filled all but 4 positions at this time and continues its work. The meeting was closed with prayer by  Bill Mueller at 9:35 pm.
