Spiritual Life Groups
Groups of 10-18 people gather once a month for a potluck dinner and a spiritual conversation in a member’s home. These groups covenant to stay together continuously over several months or years.
Wine, Women and God
This group meets monthly in members homes from 6:30 to 8:30 pm typically on a Tuesday evening. We have an hour for fellowship and food (we bring appetizers, desserts and wine) and then an hour for a causal discussion facilitated by either a pastor or one of the group members. Topics range widely based on group interest. Women range in ages but have in common that their children are out of high school.
Mens’ Group
The men of WCC gather every few months for their Men’s Fellowship Barbecue The group also participates in occasional volunteer projects for the church and other non-profit organizations.
Women’s Retreat
A chance to get away for the weekend for rest and renewal. Retreats are a time of spiritual conversation and fellowship—building relationships with one another and with God.
Saturday Night Supper
A dinner group that meets quarterly at the church on a Saturday night for a catered meal and fellowship.
First Friday
First Friday is a casual, low-key potluck dinner gathering at church of members, generally empty-nesters, both single and married, who share a meal and fellowship between 6:30 and 9:00 on the first Friday of every month, except during the summer. Occasionally we have a program, but most of the time we simply eat and talk.
