Weekly stops by the pastors are made to NorthShore Evanston Hospital. However, the chaplaincy office there has recently changed it’s confidential pastoral roster format. It now lists only a patient’s name and religion (Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Muslim, etc.) if given. Otherwise, a patient’s religion is left blank or listed as Unknown. It does not list denomination (Congregational) or specific congregation unless provided by patient at time of admission. If you or a loved one happen to be hospitalized there or elsewhere, and would like a pastoral visit, please let us know. We are happy to extend the prayers of the congregation and our pastoral care to you and your family. Don’t go Unknown.
