ALL PROCEEDS DONATED TO SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES IN THE CHICAGO AREA.
The May Rummage Sale is an annual rite of spring at WCC that goes back over a century to 1902, when the Woman’s Society raised a modest sum of money at a “White Elephant Sale” to donate to those in need. The sale represents the spirit of outreach, community effort, fun, fellowship, and service that are the mainstays of our church. The wider community supports this ecumenical effort as well, by volunteering to work at the sale, by donating gently used goods, and by coming to shop.
WCC RUMMAGE partners with ANNA’S MOSTLY MAHOGANY CONSIGNMENT STORE
We are excited to announce that WCC Rummage has opened a booth at Anna’s Mostly Mahogany (www.Annasmostlymahogany.com) in Highwood. By doing this, we hope to help more in the community by generating more income for our charities in a “7 day a week” retail environment.
Anna’s Mostly Mahogany and Antique & Art Consignment store, with over 20 different dealers, offers new products and consignment pieces, that satisfy a large breadth of styles, tastes, and décor. Originally more traditionally based and the place to go for mahogany, Anna has since broadened her inventory to reflect many different tastes and styles. Anna’s high standards, keen eye, and passion for interior design coupled with her imagination and solid relationships have made her a fixture on Chicago’s north shore.
More information to follow in the near future on how you can support WCC Rummage in partnership with Anna’s. Visit the website or the store at this address:
