Work with others on special projects to improve our gardens and grounds. |
Provide financial expertise with others in an oversight role of church’s financial budgeting on a short and long term basis. Those with financial, accounting, portfolio management and estate planning (deferred giving) skills can make significant contributions to this important ministry. |
Work with others in the planning, communicating and contacting of members to ensure our pledges of annual support meet our church’s needs. All of the other church ministries are dependent on success in our annual giving efforts. Use this process to listen to members feedback on their needs, concerns and suggestions for improving church ministries. |
As the church considers the need for improving our facilities, such as replacing our aging organ, capital campaigns need to be effectively planned, communicated and fund raising activities carried out. Those with experience or interest in working with others make lasting contributions to the life of the church. |
Work with our pastoral staff in obtaining, evaluating and improving the capabilities of the office and grounds personnel who provide essential support for our church life. |
Consult with members of the congregation to get feedback on the effectiveness of our pastoral staff and communicate with our Pastors so they can continue to grow in their service with us. |
Provide personnel administrative expertise to ensure that we have effective procedures, policies and benefit programs that make WCC a place where people desire to work. |
